There are lots of considerations to take into account when choosing games for your kids to play. Naturally you want them to be entertained and stimulated. If the game offers any educational benefit then even better! If you are using the internet then be sure not to allow sites that have integrated chat or ones that display inappropriate advertising. Disney offers non-violent and educational games for kids of all ages.

I have listed and reviewed a few sites online that contain free Disney games for kids. There is something for all age groups and if you and your little ones are Disney fans, you’ll enjoy these online games:

Playhouse Disney is aimed at the younger, pre-school kids from 2 years and up. There are some excellent free Disney games to play that encourage learning as well as containing the usual Disney fun.
As well as games to play, your kids can also listen to music, watch Disney tv episodes and listen to stories. You can even print off Disney pictures for your children to color in. Plenty of free entertainment that should keep you going for a while!

2. tv.disney.go.com/disneychannel/games/index.html

This site is for a slightly older audience and contains lots of free games featuring Disney Channel tv shows like Lilo & Stitch, Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place and lots more! All you have to do is click on your favorite show and you will be taken to a site where you can play the corresponding online game for free!

3. disney.go.com/games

This site has both free and paid games to play online. It also contains some games that can’t be played online and need a games system of your own to play with. Having said that, there are tons of Disney games for kids of all ages here with all manner of educational, fun and stimulating games. See for yourself!

4. www.gamedisney.net

This is a nice and easy site to navigate. It contains several online Disney games for boys and girls of a younger age who love the classic characters like Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Ariel, Toy story and many more.

There’s even an online color game where you can add different colors to pictures of famous Disney characters.

It’s not a site if you’re looking for educational games, but it is child friendly and easy to work, even for tiny fingers!

Fortunately there are some companies out there who understand parents concerns and only produce material that is fit for any age and gender. Disney is one such company and it is a brand universally viewed and admired as suitable for the whole family.

When you’re searching for games, DVD’s, etc. for your children to play and watch, the Disney corporation has a vast array of products you can trust to be child friendly.

From the classics such as Snow White and Cinderella to more recent favorites like A Sharks Tail and Cars, there’s something to suit everyone.

I personally love the Disney company and find the games they produce to be perfect for my little ones. The language is suitable and any violence is minimal and light hearted.

Their selection of computer games is growing all the time to meet with demand for this type of ‘safe’ entertainment. Naturally you’ll need to pay for the majority of these games. But there are websites and places where you can play free Disney games or at least a playable demo, where you can play a section of the game to see if you like it enough to buy the full version.

This is ideal for anyone on a tight budget or if you want to see if your children actually like the games before spending any money on them.

Many of the links that are provided on this site will take you to such websites. Some sites will require you to enter your name and email address in order to play the free games. This is quite normal as it allows them to offer you further related products by email. I think it’s a fair trade off to get to play a free game.
